Couscous at Simon's Cafe in Sherman Oaks

My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Simon's Cafe the other night. We ordered Couscous Royale and Lamb Tagine. The lamb tagine was served with saffron rice and spiced with apples, cinnamon and raisins. The couscous was served with skewers of grilled chicken, lamb and merguez sausages. What a treat!

It was Sunday night and sorry to say we were the only people there the entire time. Simon came out and chatted with us for a bit. He and his restaurant used to be in Encino in the mall across the street from the Laemmle Town and Country. This space is smaller and I'm sure costs a lot less to operate. Please go there.
