I was looking to make a quick dressing for a raw cabbage salad and for raw kale salad (two separate salads). I didn't have a lot of time to play so I just looked a recipe up on the internet and used it without thinking. It had :
a quarter cup of Apple cider vinegar,
a tablespoon of mustard
a tablespoon of honey
a quarter cup of olive oil,
.. and spices.
It seemed reasonable so I just used it without tasting it. But it is so sweet. It is waaaay too sweet! I guess it would've been good with just a little bit of honey. At least for my taste.
Anyway what would you guys use to correct this? I figure I want to think a little bit better before I add stuff. And I don't want to waste the cabbage and the kale.
What about perhaps lemon juice? Or lemon and Cayanne pepper? Any other ideas? Thanks a million!
