After three years in these parts, I've found a slice of pizza I'd like to recommend. I do so humbly, being from Maine and all.
The Fresh Tomato Pizza (no cheese) from Four Corners, is my favorite in a town with plenty of pizza. This is a pretty plain pizza. The crust is thin and crisp, but not too thin or too crisp. There's olive oil, then sliced fresh tomatoes, sprinkles of fresh chopped garlic, oregano, and fresh basil, and just a little tomato sauce here and there to hold everything down. I like to add some pepper flakes. There's just the right amount of acidity and sweetness. Sold by the slice or pie.
I often bring a slice home and heat it in a dry iron frying pan, but it's best eaten there, fresh from their oven.
