I've seen it all...and some.

We had some plum jam in the walk-in cooler that was months old and had developed a turf of green mold on its surface. So, what does chef do? Scrape the astro-turf off and serve the rest of the jam with the cheese board.

Another involved my dropping a tray of just baked pita bread on the floor. Chef told me to pick them up and carry on. I guess the 2 second rule applies here. *smile*

Also, don't ever assume that those delicate winter greens were washed before they were artistically arranged on your plate.

Makes you not want to eat out ever ya?
