Comments on Jackie's

The following are good eats at Jackie's: The phyllo wrapped mussels appetizer (crunchy outside, moist and plump inside), the bread (very fresh - especially try the olive bread), fish sandwich on Tuesdays for lunch, the brownie with ice cream (enough, especially at dinner, for three people to share), the mango sorbet (like a burst of sunshine in your mouth), and the sunshine cake, the Cotes du Rhone red wine (nice, full flavor) and cocktails.

Other good traits: the decor (fabulous, as if you're at a very nice, late 50s/60s cocktail party - very colorful and playful), and the nice, honest service (especially Rich and Jason - ask for those two servers in particular).

Not so hot things: the duck (too chewy and lacking in flavor), the mocha float, service can be slow sometimes, and finding the place/parking.

Can't wait to come back on Fridays for lunch when they serve their Cuban sandwich (apparently one of the best around) and for their Elvis burgers!
