Cold Night Jackson Heights Mexican Delivered

Just thought I'd post about a tasty supper I ordered from Tacos Mexico. (Actually, I thought it was coming from somewhere else. I've had the take-out menu for awhile without ordering.) I had had some good tacos at this place before but nothing else. They have several locations, but the mother ship is at 88-12 Roosevelt in JH, 718-899-5800. They're also open till 2 a.m.

I started off with some nachos texanos (with pieces of carne asada) that had great tortilla chips, chunks of jalapeño and were just right. Then I had a bit more adult dish, the adobo de puerco. The sauce is a bit almost bitter tasting, but with some complexity and very red. Comes with pork ribs or chicken and different side options. A nice portion for $9.95. Both of these dishes are enough for two. I got fresh-made apple juice that had a nice snap on a cold night, and leche quemada (a more condensed flan) for dessert. All in all very satisfying. They obviously have more depth than just tacos. I'll try them again.

Note about one place I haven't been to yet but like the looks of: Suaderos Tacos on Roosevelt on the southside at 93rd or 92nd. Anyone tried it?
