Last night I bought some Coho salmon at Whole Foods. Is Coho really worth the extra cost? It was about 3.00 more a pound thank Atlantic Farm raised.
Also they had two pieces one was bright red and the other was more opaque. The bright red one was a little too small for me, so I got the opaque piece. The seafood clerk said the only difference between the two pieces was the sex and they tasted exactly the same. Males are bright red and females are not as bright. If anyone could chime in if this is true or did I fall for a line.
