Some closings in the Richmond District

The banner on Cafe Riggio (Geary between 5th and 6th Avenues) says they are retiring as of July 4th.

Siam Thai Noodle (Geary Blvd. at Second Ave.)has been boarded up for weeks. I heard that a car lost control and damaged the entrance. There was a work permit posted but I haven't seen any change in there yet.

Also the Bistro Carioca, the restaurant that replaced Bistro Clement (Clement between 2nd & 3rd Avenues) seems to be closed. At least I haven't seen anyone in there for a couple of weeks and the plants seem to be dying out front. Carioca couldn't have been open for more than a few weeks - with an oddly bland and simple menu - before everything stopped.
