Now that we've tried Chun King...

My friends and I are trying various ethnic restaurants every few weeks to try and expand everyone's horizons. Our first outing was to Chun King in Monterey Park, which was a big hit. It was such a big hit we've decided to do Chinese again before moving on to Korean, Burmese, whatever. Where do you hounds suggest we try next, and what should we get there? Here are the vague guidelines:
-Monterey Park or Alhambra location is probably best
-decent prices, not too expensive
-large variety of different dishes for a group to try
-adventurous selections
-It's for dinner, so dim sum is probably not indicated.
Should we do Lake Spring? The Islamic place? A noodle place, or are those better for lunch? I've been to Ocean Star, and it seems a little generic for our food adventuring purposes...thanks for your help.
