I need some suggestions on Christmas lunch menu. My housemates and I have agreed on the some menu but we still need some inputs for mains and dessert:
Appetizer - Egg benedict with smoked salmon to replace bacon
Soup - cream of mushroom
Main - fish (we haven't decided the dish )
Sides - mashed potato
Dessert - we're thinking something fruit-based and refreshing, considering the meals are already quite heavy.
We're open to suggestions e.g. on the composition, how to balance it e.g. with more vegetable or fruits, or what kind of mains and dessert we can have. We will only cook in the morning, unless some ingredients can be prepared chilled. Also, we don't have oven. I only have a small Le Creuset pot.
