Last night my wife and I were craving Ukranian food of the type I used to get in Edmonton. Couldn't find anything, but we decided on Polish instead.

We ended up at Chopin at 165 Roncesvalles.

Ordered their Polish Plate For Two, which was a great value at $30. It included a mixed salad plate, Schnitzels, Cabbage Rolls, Potato Pancakes and Perogies.

Everything was excellent, but the Perogies were absolutely sublime and transcendant. The dough was so soft and yielding, I couldn't believe that they could make perogies that delicate. Easily the best I've ever had, and believe me I have eaten a lot of them!

Highly recommended, folks, a real chowhound find.
