Help me choose birthday resto - Newark/Eliz. Portugeuse, etc.

Hi: I've already cross-referenced a few posts to narrow down my choices for an upcoming birthday dinner for 10-12 people. Early @ 6PM, so our littlest guest enjoys. In no particular order is my list, which admittedly, does not really look like I've narrowed it down.

I'm partial to Ironbound because we have 2 people coming in from NYC. But people are so enthusiastic about the other places, I'm not ready to drop them yet.

I'm looking to do a food stroll in the Main Avenue area for lunch, so that might include a meat centered meal. Thus seafood is great for dinner for me, but some guests don't really like seafood. Menu must cater to both. Dessert won't be important to me.

I would like more of a dining experience, since this is a special occasion, but don't want to sacrifice food quality. We are a fairly quiet bunch and might get swallowed up in a very boisterous place, but at 6PM, I think we'd do well anywhere.

Looking forward to people chiming in with thoughts... Thanks!
