Has anyone out there ever had or made a chocolate flan cake? I just heard about this and it sounds sweet but interesting. It is a bundt cake made from a mix with the addition of flan "batter" and caramel. The caramel is poured into the pan followed by the cake mix and then the flan mixture is poured around the edges of the pan. The flan settles to the bottom. When the pan is flipped after baking the flan is covering the top of the cake. I have also heard of people adding coke to the cake batter instead of the regular method.
Not sure if I will like it as commericial mixes are just too sweet for me but the folks at work might enjoy it. I might give it a try.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
