I’m organizing dinner for a small group of friends in Chinatown, and we’ve been talking about going to a seafood place for ages.
We’d like some lobster (Cantonese / country / scallion garlic) and fish, plus a couple of other things to round out the menu - noodles or rice, maybe a special item, and maybe one meat dish.
5 or 6 of us, and we don’t want to go crazy ordering and break the bank.
From old threads, Fuleen, Ping’s, and OG seemed the favorites, with Cafe Hong Kong appearing occasionally. Does anyone have recommendations among these, or recent experiences?
The pricing also seems pretty variable for non-specialty items. Any idea what a lobster costs nowadays? We’re staying away from crab this time as we really don’t have enough people to justify the tag.
