Chinatown Farmers Market

I don't know if this has been mentioned before. I found out about this on the LA Chinatown website.

"On Thursday, May 16th, Chinatown will become the first multicultural district in the
Los Angeles area to host a Farmers' Market. And the Chinatown Farmers' Market will
be unlike any other in the region. While it will feature quality produce from certified
growers and producers in Southern California, you will also find a tremendous
selection of Chinese produce. You can also sample great Chinese cuisine from
some of Chinatown's most popular restaurants and learn about different Chinese art
forms, including calligraphy and knotting.

The Chinatown Farmers' Market will be held each Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the
Unified Parking Lot at 727 North Hill, between Alpine and Ord. The lot is adjacent to
the United Commercial Bank building.

This Farmers' Market is being sponsored by the Chinatown Business Improvement
District, in conjunction with the Southland Farmers' Market Association."
