Hello, and thanks in advance for any help...I made chicken stock about five days ago and since have reboiled and strained it and it is sitting in my VERY cold refrigerator. My question is, how long is it safe to use? I know I should freeze it if I'm not going to make soup right away (I wish I had!), but if I reboiled it and made soup today or tomorrow would it be safe? Also, it is likely it will take me at least two days to eat said soup so will it be safe to eat even then? It looks and smells fine, but I just keep thinking, hmmm...soup that's eight days old...good OR very, very bad?
