Breakfast or lunch only. Home made food. World famous biscuits made with Old Virginia Ham (salt cured). The biscuits are flat!! Can't get no receipies, the cooks don't use any. Brunswick stew or chicken and dumplings for lunch. They bake 20 to 30 pies every day, from scratch. The owner told me that she picks apples from her orchard for the apple pie (obviously in season only). The blackberry pie in the summer is to die for. No reservations, there is usually a line on the front porch for opening on the weekends. There is a nice gift shop and antiques are also sold; if you have to wait, you can browse and not be disappointed. I've gone out of my way to eat at the Old Chickahominy House anytime I travel to Richmond or Norfolk.
