Chez Papa [San Francisco]

We (a party of 4) ate at Chez Papa last evening in celebration of a birthday. It was wonderful! We had a 6 pm reservation so arrived to a near empty house. It rapidly filled. Service was attentive but not fussy. Among the particular hits at our table were: the proscuitto wrapped artichoke hearts, the lamb chops(small plate)the scallops in champagne beurre blanc and the lamb daube(large plate). Dessert winner was the cafe latte pot de creame! Sublime!

We easily ordered from the wines by the glass list as it had many choices.

All four of us have been to Paris and felt, for a moment, we had returned.

I'd go back in a heartbeat.
