We ate here Friday night and we thought the food was outstanding!
We raved over the Home Made Ballotine of Foie Gras and the we got to sample some of the Chef's newly-smoked duck.
I love smoked meats but this was truly the best smoked duck I've ever had.
For dinner the Classic French Fisherman's Stew ,or Bouillabaisse, was just great.
Lots of mussels,scallops,squid,snapper,Monk Fish,& Sole and the broth was what made this all taste so great!!!
She had Pan-seared scallops over porcini & fava bean risotto and she absolutley loved this.
With so many good choices for dessert I had both the Flourless Chocolate Devastation cake and the baked apples on a light pastry.
Both were great!
We finished this off with some great Barrington Coffee and a taste of something called "44" from the bar which is made with calvados,coffee beans,sugar ,and orange and left to "work" for 44 days.
This outstanding treat is NOT to be missed.
I couldn't stop drinking this great drink.
