The cherries I bought on Saturday at the Ferry Plaza farmers market, from a farmer whose stand is in front of the building and to the right of the clock tower as you face it, were stupendous and surpassed any of the other cherries at the market I've tried over the past weeks. Perhaps another can provide the name of the farm. There was no indication of the type of cherry and I did not ask. Deep blood red in color, many with the vestigial parasitic twin that both disgusts and excites.
