When I was growing up, we'd have Christmas dinner with my parents' best friends. Lynn admitted that she was not a very good cook--one Christmas she forgot to put the roast beef in and wound up microwaving it. It was a memorable meal. I'm still not sure why she was given Christmas duty year after year. She did however make an incredible blue cheese/cream cheese ball covered in walnuts which we loved. I believe it had minced green and red peppers in it, but other than that, I'm not sure what the seasonings were, but I have a feeling that they were pretty basic.
I tend to think that the recipe came from a newspaper or magazine in the late 1960's or early 1970's. Does anyone have a similar recipe for this? Thank you in advance.
