Chalet Alpina: No pearls, no oysters, just spinach--what the . . .?

For reasons I can't go into I ate at Chalet Alpina on Metro, FH, a few eves ago, for the second time in a month.

Anything else aside, check this:

Special appetizers featured were oysters on the half shell and oysters Rockefeller. One person had the half shells, I ordered the Rocks. What I was served was spinach and parmesan in an oyster shell, sprinkled with oyster liquor. No oysters. Of course the half shell order had oysters in it. Anyone ever hear of this? I was flabbergasted.

(No, I did not complain, again for reasons that have nothing to do with food.)
