Century CIty Food Court

compumom | Jan 8, 200602:36 AM

Tonight we ventured into Century City and checked out the new food court before seeing a movie. I was pretty impressed with the food choices.
There were 4 of us. Our choices were as follows:
I had a cold poached salmon salad from Harper's Express. It was a generous portion, attractively arranged, well prepared and only $12.95. I couldn't have been more satisfied.
DH had dinner from a Korean BBQ place that started with an 'S' and was in the SW corner. He was satisfied and it wasn't quite the normal goopy Panda Express (although they had a spot in the court too).
Our friends opted for Fuddrucker's. They didn't think it was as good as the Sherman Oaks location. It's not a place I enjoy, so I have no comment.
It' a very busy food court and of course the noise level is high. The seats are comfortable and the outside areas are very pleasant.
After the movie we went over to the Coral Tree Cafe and had coffee drinks. It was freshly made and good. They had rich looking desserts but cookies or something lighter would have been nice. We were quite surprised that there was only one dessert option after the movie.

On a separate note, the parking/timing thing really stinks at this mall. 3 hours isn't enough to eat and see a movie, not to say anything about doing a bit of shopping. How stupid is that? My husband HATES paying for parking after he's spent money at a mall. They should make it more accessible. Parking was tight too.
