So, 4 of us ate dinner at Ceiba on Saturday night, and all 4 of us really enjoyed it. The mojitos were quite good and a fun way to start the meal. We ordered the shrimp ceviche appetizer and the queso in the hot lava stone to start. Both were quite good, I really enjoyed the queso, from the presentation to the flavor. As entrees, we got two scallops, one sugar-cane grilled shrimp and one rib eye. I had the scallops and thought they were delicious. Four large scallops on a bed of sauteed spinach with black beans and these wonderful gnocchi. Had some of the guacamole that came with my husband's shrimp and it was truly excellent. Would have liked a whole order of that. We ended with the churros with chocolate and were fighting over the last one. How can you go wrong with fried dough dipped in chocolate. All-in-all a very enjoyable evening and I am anxious to go back. Great service and the place was filled to capacity. I have a feeling it will be hard to get a reservation soon.
