Catering a Party at a Karaoke Bar

Hi all-

I'm throwing a surprise party for the BF's birthday at a karaoke bar. The manager said it was no problem for me to bring in food, and he's gonna cut me a deal on drinks. I'm calling the party for 830 and bringing my BF at 9, so I need to serve something to soak up the alcohol :) It's after dinner time, so I'm thinking more snacky, fingery food type items. BF likes things as spicy as one can get them, but as of right now, he doesn't eat beef or chicken, but will eat fish. (We have a deal that he's supposed to start eating chicken by his birthday, but I'm not banking on that...) So, I ask the Chowhounds for suggestions for where to get the catered food from. I'm really open to cuisine, don't want to spend too too much, since drinks are already pricey. One more thing to keep in consideration is that my BF is allergic to olives, mushrooms, and avocadoes. I don't mind serving foods with them in them, but I need to make sure there are alternatives for the birthday boy. I'll be serving a cake as well, but that'll be later on.
