Catching up on SF visit

Tom Hall | Apr 15, 200606:18 PM

I was in the city for a meeting last month and need to finish my report. Buried in my link is my report on Sultan and Tajine. I wound up eating twice at Sultan and my friend was not feeling too adventurous with the Tenderloin (much to my dismay but, again, I will not rant). Anyway I feel both places deserve their raves. Thanks again for great advice. I want to hit some of the places on Larkin and visits again to Sultan and Tajine would be fine, too.

I ate one lunch on a Saturday at the sit down Cha Am near Moscone and felt it was a very good value with fresh and tasty food but it's not any destination spot, just sevicable and affordable.

I had two lunches at Fringale and greatly enjoyed both having a cod special at the bar one day and the tuna "burger" the next time. It's a little pricey but I obviously like it better than some recent posters have. It was packed on a Friday lunch and included a fair number of people from the meeting at Moscone.

Stopped at K&L on the way out of town. That shop is just too tempting.
