A new Brazilian bakery, on Route 60 just before Haines Sq. (going east). Very simple, a smallish, open space with 4-5 little tables. They have sweet puddings and the like, breads and doughnuts, savory pies, cakes, sandwiches, juices. And espresso.

I tried a small selection of sweets: passionfruit mousse, a corn pudding (something do milho), a coconut-citrus egg-yolk flan, and a lime tartlet. Four of us split them for dessert, and I'd say all were a hit except the coconut flan that was too eggy for some--not its fault, really. I thought they were all good. The corn pudding was especially interesting, a very faint flavor of corn that I think we finally decided was cornmeal.

Sorry, no compare-and-contrast, I buy sweets so very seldom, but next time I have to show up somewhere with dessert this place is on the list.
