Casa Maya-Scarsdale

Ended up at a dog show in White Plains today. Just driving around aimlessly to find a place to dine. Ended up at Casa Maya in a strip mall in Scarsdale. It was around 7PM, busy but tables filled as soon as people left, so we were led right to a table. Not vastly decorated just run of the mill Mexican, with a pleasant strolling request-taking guitarist. There was at least one to four children at every table as far as my eye could see, but all were well behaved. They had a dinner special, ours was $16.95 which included a Margarita, salad, entree including rice and beans, dessert and coffee. All was very good, no complaints at all. The salsa with the tortilla chips on the table was heavy on cilantro but it was good. We also got Guac & Sour cream. We both got the same thing, which we never had before. I forgot the actual name but was ribs with zuccini and onions, it was really good, a bit on the vinegary side. Dessert was Fried Ice cream, a different style for me, ice cream in a tortilla instead of coated with crumbs.
