I just had home-made fresh mangoes in syrup which were pretty fabulous.
Anyway, while googling to see if my recipe was correct, I came across many references to canned mangoes. Are they the equivalent in mango land to canned peaches?
It seems they often get used in curries, but a lot of people use them for desserts.
Have you used canned mangoes? How do they taste? Are they just the cheeks or is the center included? Any brands that are better than others?
