Calcium Propionate in Bread

Dukeofyork | Jul 13, 2005 07:45 PM

Is anyone else bothered by this? It took me forever to figure out what was causing strange headaches, etc., until I realised I only had them whenever I had bought a loaf of presliced bread.

It's a preservative that has been shown to affect the mental states of children. As soon as I stopped eating sliced bread, the reaction ceased. Whenever I accidentally eat sliced bread now, it's the reaction later on that clues me to my slip up.

Anyone else, or am I crazy?
