Just returned from our 4th trip to Los Cabos. We went with a dining agenda, but decided to do a few different things. We were only there 5 days this trip.
Went back to Edith's the first night. Still one of my favorites.
We went to Mi Cocina in San Jose. This was a first try for us. Ambiance is great. They have a martini menu. At this point we had had enough seafood. My friend had a tenderloin, that she thought was great, and our meals were good too.
We had received tips to go to Mi Cocina and Tequila Restaurant in San Jose, but just never made it there. Also La Ponga, but a friend had been a few days earlier and said it was mediocore for the $.
We went back to Pitahayas. I always get the same thing... salmon with lobster mashed potatoes. It wasn't as good this trip. My friend tasted my potatoes and said they tasted burned to her, but I think it was caramelized onions. Still had great appetizers and peacefull ambiance.
We had a GREAT lunch at Ventanas ceviche bar. YUMMY!!
skipped the office this trip.
I still think the best ceviche I've had there is the lobster ceviche at Palmilla, but they are closed for renovations. Palmilla also has one of the best margaritas I've had there.
Thanks for the tips to everyone who offered. Unfortunetly, I didn't get them until after returning.
