I need to take a friend out to dinner, a nice dinner, and we have some very expensive wines that we'd like to drink. We own the wines ourselves and dont want to drink them at a home dinner. I have never thought about paying a corkage fee at a resturant and have never looked for a BYOB in NYC.
Any really good resturants to reccomend below 30th that allow BYOB?
What is the standard for corking fees? I assume resturants with good wine lists dont event consider it.
