Buying decaf whole bean coffee in bulk

karykat | Oct 10, 2011 10:22 AM

To grind in the store and put in bags.

I've been buying decaf coffee along with caf coffee (which I then mix to brew) at the coop.

But now the one I go to is stocking only a dark roast decaf. I don't like the dark roast (think they roast the flavor out of it and may also start with beans that are not as good for that kind of roast.)

I like the Peace Coffee or something like it. Preferably fairly traded and grown with environmental care.

And, oh yeah, I don't want to pay too much!

So where should I be going? I like things like the decaf Full CIty or decaf Birchwood. That I blend with some caf Sumatran or something like that.
