need business dinner rec.

Pat Darnell | Jan 22, 200312:06 PM     3

My boss and I will be in town next week for some meetings (coming from SF) and he has decided that he wants to host a dinner on Tuesday night for six people, so he has left it up to me to handle the arrangements. I know that it will be tough to get a reservation this late, but I have to try. As far as location, it has to be within walking distance of the Plaza Hotel and the Hilton. Some of the restaurants we have enjoyed in the past (on expense account!) have been Jean-Georges, Aureole, Oceana, JoJo, Eleven Madison Park, Esca, etc. I don't know the other people so they are at my mercy.
Any ideas?
The concierge at the Plaza suggested One CPS (of course), Town, Beacon, and Trattoria Dellarte (sp?).
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
