Burger Depot

So I was at the Solano Stroll yesterday, and came upon Burger Depot, a small houndish looking place in the Albany end of Solano.

Like its name suggests, it serves burgers and fries and such. There's an ice cream parlor next door which I assume is under the same ownership.

My girlfriend and I sat down and ordered, each a burger, a large plate of fries, and a blueberry shake.

The verdict:

The burger was very average, with not tons of flavor, and despite ordering a "teriyaki hickory", I didn't really taste it.

The fries weren't bad, but weren't oustanding either. Shoestring fries...possibly frozen.

The service was remarkably slow. We waited a good 20+ minutes for a relatively simple and small order.

HOWEVER, the shake was *very* good. It had a full sweet blueberry flavor, and had very good consistency. I'd be interested in trying the ice cream next door.
