Bukhara Cuisine of India in H.B. review

We arrived Wednesday evening around 7 and we could smell how wonderful it was in the parking lot. We walked in and it was clean and friendly looking, the place is very small but there were only 2 other couples there so they managed to space us out nicely, it was apparent that they do a HUGE take-out business ,the guys delivering were going non stop.
We were brought water right away by a rather crabby looking man who never said a word to us the entire evening, I made it a point to thank him everytime he came around with something and he would just not crack a smile, I don't know what my husband did but he shot him a if looks could kill look" as he served him his water the first time, I got a kickout of that. Our waiter came around and he was pleasant enough, he brought us raita and papaddan that I could have easily eaten all night. We ordered Samosas, they were crisp and light and full of flavor and the dipping sauce was amazing, the couple across from us got Chicken Tikka that smelled so good I wanted to assault them for a bite, we decied on the Chicken Tikka Masala, it was very good but I will order spicier next time, not much meat but a lot of sauce which was very good on the rice that comes with your meal, Rogan Josh that was to die for!! same thing not much meat but I could bathe in the gravy! the lamb was succulant and tender as was the chicken, Chicken Saag that I am deeply craving right now, the blend of spices and creamed spinich was perfect! and Channa Masala that was also amazing and I had a Mango Lassi that they refilled for free, my husband was impressed with the beer selection, the Lassi was cold and like drinking a mango, heaven! Our meal was so good, we had a lot of rice left and I took the sauces home and about half the Channa Masala, the next day it made for a spectacular lunch that made my co-workers envious. The bad thing is we live about 100 miles away in a rural area, we have nothing compared to this and I want it again NOW! we moved from Los Angeles a few years ago and know good food and Bukhara definatly made a good impression, I am envious of anyone that can make a call and have it at their door. They are open for lunch 11-2:30 then open again for dinner 5-10pm.
Our bill with tip and my husband is generous ran about 80 dollars, worth every penny.
