I keep hearing on Melinda Lee how wonderful brined turkey is. Has anyone tried it that way? I hear it changes the texture and it's no longer like turkey. The people who love it say it transforms the turkey.
Would love to hear opinions as I want to try that for Christmas if we don't order a prepared meal.
How exactly is it done, step by step? I can't picture a big enough receptical to soak a whole bird in a liquid.
I also hear that deep fried turkeys are good. Super trendy last year. Is brined and deep fried nirvana?
