we're coming down to new orleans next friday, for a week. the wife keeps kosher (no pork, no shellfish), so this is a trip definitely geared towards me.
i'd really like to try brigsten's, preferably with the early-bird pricetag, but i notice that their regular menu has only one entree she can eat (Blackened Yellowfin Tuna with Smoked Corn Sauce, Red Bean Salsa, & Avocado Sour Cream) and am worried that with the restricted EB menu, she'll have nothing to eat. should i expect that there will be a straight-up fish dish on the EB menu? or, if i call the restaurant, will they know the menu this far ahead of time?
of course, this all is assuming that i can get a reservation? any hunches? like i said, we'll be there for a week, so we can go on a weekday. any one day better than the others in terms of reservation availability?
