Last Thursday I took some customers to Bricco for dinner, and we were all quite impressed with the food. The stand out - BY FAR - was a very simple dish of sauteed fresh Porcini (I think they were porcini) mushrooms with a little garlic. Other dishes were good to very good, but these mushrooms were unreal.
I chose to go to Bricco after having some killer little neck clams at the bar about two weeks ago.
Rita and Marisa, formerly of the South End Galleria, and Galleria Italiana are now running the front and back of the house respectively.
