First, Thanks to all of you for your reviews they served as a excellent guide. Most of these places are right on the beach and your guidance was very helpful.

Cafe del Mar- Appetizers Saturday night- streetside dining was quite interesting lots of people watching here. (Beware the $11 frozen cocktails, they at least are huge)
Calamari - A - first rate calamari, not too greasy or rubbery
Bufalo Mozzeralla & Tomatoe/Basil- B- Tomatoes were somewhat white (of course its February) right on A1A strip

Floridian Diner- A - Solid breakfast with Locals - on Los Olas

Shuck-n-Dive - A- Super crawfish 3lbs for $10, oysters were very sweet, blackened fish special excellent, jambalaya/redbeans/gumbo sampler a good way to try all three (don't let the strip mall appearance fool you) 2985 North Ocean Boulevard

Mezzanotte - A - (on Riverwalk) - Bread on table was sooo good, affordable lunch specials, Cobb Salad, Grilled Chicken sandwhich with Mozzerella both $9, huge portions of good food (if using Water Taxi ask for free cocktail coupon)

Thai on the beach - A+ - ordered 2 specials, Lobster Pad thai and Whole Fried snapper- perfect and great atmosphere as well, view of the beach, family place, reasable wine selection, Columbia Reisling $17 was perfect, but if you don't care for Kenny Rogers music you may be at the wrong place ( I know it sounds strange, but the music was strangely soothing) 901 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd (A1A)

Casablanca Cafe - B - lunch special buy one get one free, agian watch the pricey cocktails, but buy one get one helps- 10oz filet was well prepared, seafood in curry sauce was excellent, good beach view from outside (A1A & Alahambra St.)

for other visitors don't overlook the Water Taxi, $5 for all day pass brings you to tons of interesting destinations, I didn't have a car but got just about everywhere on the water taxi
