BonTerra in Fredericksburg

I went to Fredericksburg a few weeks ago with my husband and inlaws. Based on the reviews of BonTerra that I found here, we decided to give them a try Saturday for lunch. Boy am I glad we did! I had the Lobster Club Sandwich and it was very tasty. Kind of a lobster salad type sandwich. It was served with sweet potato fries that were excellent. My husband ordered the daily special which was Quail Etouffee and it was the star of the show. The sauce was dark and rich and the quail was very tender. The chef is originally from Dallas, but spent quite a few years in New Orleans before returning to Texas, so there are quite a few Louisiana influenced dishes on the menu. His wife runs the restaurant side of things and she is very welcoming. We'll definitely stop by there when we come through town again!

BonTerra, 1440 N. US 87, Fredericksburg (on the right about 1/4 mile west of the post office heading away from town).
