Was at Bliss recently and the experience was underwhelming on a few different fronts--hope it was an anomaly reflecting weather-related disruptions in the kitchen but just wanted to check in on the experience of other folks. There were no specials, the restaurant was a little too hot (no a/c?), and our meal was not up to standard. Wife's skirt steak was overcooked, and my ribs tasted nuked with nondescript bbq sauce on top. Now, ordinarily I know better than to get the ribs at any place that's not a dedicated bbq restaurant, but the absence of specials led me to the ribs. Restaurant was also empty at 8 p.m. on a Thursday--usually we have to wait to be seated. Perhaps this was a result of extreme weather (just after the mini-hailstorm)--but the combination of a very uncrowded restaurant and subpar diner experience led me to wonder if something else was afoot. As I said, hope it was all just a combination of factors leading to an off night (and will certainly go back--they deserve benefit of the doubt), but just curious about other experiences there.
