Bistro La Belle in Midway - Go? Or not?

Hey all,

I'm headed to Kentucky to meet up with my dad next weekend and am trying to find some Chow-worthy places to eat. We're meeting up with a friend and need to find some place to eat in the Frankfort/Midway area. Feedback on my initial suggestions were that Holly Hill Inn is too fancy and that Wallace Station doesn't serve bourbon, so I'm trying to find a nice middle ground.

Ideally we'd find some place that has sit-down service, a decently-stocked bar, but that isn't too outrageously expensive or fancy. So far I've come up with Bistro La Belle and Darlin' Jean's Apple Cobbler. Anybody have experience with those or have any other suggestions in the area?
