Birthday Celebration with a Vegetarian in Philadelphia

I am looking for suggestions for restaurants that are vegetarian friendly but special enough for a birthday celebration for both myself and youngest daughter. Older daughter is flying in from California so I'd like this to be a treat. The location can be Center City, South or West Philly or Western Suburbs. Price range under $250 for 4 if possible. Three of the four participants will consume fish or meat. In this case not interested in Chinese, Mexican, Japanese, Vietnamese or unusual type cuisine. The vegetarian will eat dairy products but is not crazy about staples like squash, eggplant, or spinach. In other words, doesn't really like vegetables and is doing this for "animal rights" type issues. Looking for a special place - perhaps Lacroix if there are a fair number of vegetarian choices, but none of the reviews seems to mention that. Any suggestions?
