A glorious stop on the way back from the aiport starving is Bilal - its on Manchester east of Aviation in a strip mall with plenty of parking. We have been there a couple of times before but several months ago, however it was very welcoming when we went in and the owner did a cartwheel in welcoming us "back again". He did not disappoint us. Usually I don't like take away of Indian food but we were really tired (a two and a half hour plane trip is sometimes worst than an all day-er). We ordered samosas - the best we have ever eaten, like a cloud and not greasy; lamb vindaloo, chicken korma, sag paneer - like velvet; garlic naan, rice pudding and a heap of 'veal rice' which the owner said he had for breakfast that morning and was really good. He was not wrong. This bag load was $41 - we ate three meals from it including giving the visiting nephew a bowl of the veal rice for breakfast a couple of days later. Huge portions. Much bigger menu and packed with happy eaters at 4 pm on a Sunday. They also offer a whole roast lamb for a bar b que.
