This plave has hands down the best bagels in the park slope area. They are malty and dense and boiled and baked. So many other bagel places in the area do not make a proper bagel. Bagels on 7th? No they are too worried aboutr making blueberry bagels and whatnot. Park Slope Bageltique. There is not enough what not on the bagels i.e. poppy seeds, onions, etc. and they lack that malt flavor. WHere else is there? The cream cheese at Bergen Bagels is also very good. They are blended correctly. Too many of these places just through in a few scallions and mix. They do not take into consideration the texture of the scallion. Bergen bagel dices them just right. Sure you can go to Bageltigue and sit and read a paper and wait ten minutes for a bagel but to just get a bagel that is really good, go to Bergen Bagel.
