Bell's Beer at Brickskeller

Woods | Oct 22, 2003 02:56 PM

In my mind, the best all-around brewery in the nation is Kalamazoo Brewing Company -- also known as: Bell's. Unfortunately, my tastes of their beer are few and far between. The beer is only available in the Midwest, where I have never lived, and only rarely visit.

TONIGHT and TOMORROW night at The Brickseller, Bell's is hosting a beer tasting. This is an event that any serious beer lover should not miss. A VERY rare opportunity to taste Bell's outside of the heartland.

Consider this: among its many offerings, Bell's makes at least ten different stouts. I have only tried a few of them, but they have all been outstanding.

If you do go, standouts include:

Two Hearted Ale
Kalamazoo Stout
Cherry Stout
Expedition Stout
Sparkling Ale
Cream Stout

Call 202-293-1885 for tickets. $20 each.

See you there.
