Beijing Dumpling, Chinatown, London

limster | Feb 5, 201101:15 PM

Only opened a few days ago; possible that things are still in flux.

The meat and veg dumplings were good. The skins were moderately thick (as they should be) and with the right level of chewy consistency. There was a very faint powdery texture in the skin, wondering if that was the traces of flour coating. Fairly well seasoned filling, the classical combination of chinese chives/jiu3 cai4 and pork coming together very well. Served in an ok broth topped with chopped green onion and coriander leaves.
