Hi there! I'm in town from LA and am in search of the quintessential beef chow fun, dry style. I'm looking for wide noodles and a good char; just beef, sprouts, and scallions - nothing extra or fancy. It's hard to find a good version of this dish in LA now, and I have high hopes for finding one here! I looked through the boards and was excited to see that it was the dish of the month in September, but unfortunately wasn't really able to glean a good recommendation. Other posts on chow fun are 6-10 years old.
So if anyone has any tips on where to find a good chow fun in the city (or the East Bay), I'd really appreciate it!
