Beans in the Belfry

Andrea D | Mar 27, 2005 09:30 PM

Just thought I would share. After reading about Beans in the Belfry in the Post food section this week, I wanted to check it out (a rehabbed historic church converted to a funky coffee house in Brunswick, Md). The place is so cool, you can tell it is a very special place- fun, ecletic decor and a true community meeting place. Unlike most coffee houses, the food isn't relegated to the backburner. I imagine they have a lot of the food delivered there, but the food was very yummy and inexpensive. The atmosphere clearly made the place, but if you find yourself in the area and hungry, check it out. The cinnamon mocha was terrific...the hazelnut latte was too sweet...but the coffee overall was high quality. I will definitely go back even though it is about an hour away from home!
